Medical Gas Pipeline System
The Medical Gas Pipe Line System (MGPS) is one of the important basic components of a Healthcare facility. Healthcare uses different type of Gases depending on its services. It may include Oxygen, Medical Air, Surgical Air, Vacuum system, Nitrogen, Nitrox Oxide, Carbon dioxide, Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) etc. Medical Gas Management system makes it sure that Healthcare facility will receive uninterrupted medical Gas supply to each patient care point. Patient care points can be ICU, NICU, Minor and Major Operating Rooms, Emergency Rooms, Patient wards, OB and Gyne Procedure rooms, Hyperbaric Oxygen chambers etc.
MGPS uses a well-designed Medical Grade copper pipe lines network to distribute the Medical Gas system with uniform Pressure and Flow in every corner of the facility. MGPS uses different components in the network to have efficient and safe medical gas deliveries at the patient bed locations. The components will include Medical Grade copper pipes, fittings, Outlets, Valves, AVSU (Area Valve Service Units), Bed Head units, Pendants, Manifolds, Decompression units, Gas Plants, Alarm System etc.
Degreased Copper pipes in compliance with standards of HTM02-01, BS EN 13384, BS EN 1057 and BS 287. NHT has in House stock of Degreased copper pipes and fittings from UK and Europe origin.

End-feed Fittings are available in different sizes and shapes depending on the type of joint you want to achieve.
Coupling:
For joining two same diameter copper pipes in a straight line.
Elbow:
Joining two copper pipes of same diameter joining with an angle of 45o or 90o.
Reducer:
for joining copper pipes of different sizes.
Tee:
For joining up to three copper pipes where they intersect at a T junction.
End Cap:
To terminate the line at some point and prevent Gas and pressure leakage. Fittings are available in following sizes:
12mm, 15mm, 22mm, 28mm, 35mm, 42mm, 54mm, 76mm, 108mm
Line Valve
The lockable line valves are available in different range of sizes which are designed to have a tight shut-off and blow-out for protection against pressure surges.
Identification Tape
Pipeline ID tape is required for each medical Gas pipe line to comply with BS EN 7396, HTM01-01 NHS Health Technical Memorandum, C11 and BS 1710.
Medical Gas Outlets
Medical Gas outlets are the most important in-patient care, which ensures reliable and safe supply of medical gasses to patients and medical equipment. The medical Gas outlets are connected to a hospital’s main Gas Supply system, which enables the delivery of oxygen, Medical Air, Vacuum, Nitrous Etc. All vital for patient care.
Fully complies with BS5682, DIN 13260-2 standards.
